Each year, Andrew's family proudly gives two scholarships — one to a Ripon High School student and one to an Oshkosh North High School student — who best exemplify the ideals that Andrew strove for in his daily life. Emphasis is given to students who choose teaching as their major — and especially those with an interest in adaptive physical education. Financial need, a GPA of 2.5 or higher, community involvement in church or the National Guard, and extracurricular sports are also taken into consisderation. Funds are disbursed at the start of the second semester of college if the student has maintained a GPA of 2.5.
